Antique clock face repairing by
Marlene Beck
We repair only the actual damage of the
clock face. The missing enamel spot is cleaned,
covered with matching color and the numerals
repainted. To finish, the complete face is covered
by a thin acid resistant and light fast lacquer for
protection.
It is possible to reverse the whole
process, this is important to any professional
repair job.
Enamel inserts are repaired in the same
manner like the faces. If inserts are in really bad
condition, we can build new ones out of originally
formulated enamel in the proper color and
shape.
